My son Chase in Iraq- Got a few needs

As many of you know, my son (19) is in his first week in Iraq. He's doing fine, pulling guard duty, working out, and mostly bored, unless they are hearing mortars. The camp is dirty, dusty, and it's 135 degrees. I get occasional text messages and he lets me know he's doing OK.

Many have been kind enough to ask and send well wishes and have asked for his address, which I finally got this morning.
Thank you all for your support and join me in celebrating this Memorial Day weekend.

My many thanks to all of our Veterans and current troops!

There are a few needs in his platoon I would like to share.

Hand sanitizer
Athletes Foot Cream
Beef jerkey
Gum
MuscleTech powder- I never heard of it, but am looking.
Toilet paper- suppliers contract ran out.
Your prayers!

Muscle Tech powder is a protein supplement and a weight gain powder.
You would find it at most vitamin or health food places.

My youngest has been over there for 9 months, and is due back in 3 months. I talk to him (IM or Ventrillo) at least once a week.

He said he just got back from a convoy that the route had 3 IEDs in the last week, but his convoy had no problems.

If you get the muscle tech dont do through GNC, way overpriced. Check out some of the online supplement stores instead, they are alot cheaper.

I agree,.....I just pulled up the first link I saw to show him what it was.

    GNC is overpriced on everything.
I figured he would shop it,......plus he needs to know exactly what the son is looking for.

Thank him for his service and my prayers are with him. Toilet paper is a must have for soldiers. I wish we had had baby wipes in VN.
