That is some... um... rare engraving.
Some will die in hot pursuit
    And fiery auto crashes
Some will die in hot pursuit
    While sifting through my ashes
Some will fall in love with life
And drink it from a fountain
That is pouring like an avalanche
    Coming down the mountain

The best way to tell the difference is, Worls Clas involves making holes smaller by removing material from them.

I would like to buy it just so it will make my own valiant efforts at customizing firearms look good. Whenever anyone snorts at my hand-stamped serial numbers on guns that came with none, I will proudly fetch the Grenon Special and watch them faint.

In all seriousness, I would bet that is the situation. Some young man was VERY PROUD of his rifle. [8D]

We all did stuff like this, right? (I know I did.)

Very narrow target market on this one
Although always described as a cowboy, Roswellnative generally acts as a righter of wrongs or bodyguard of some sort, where he excels thanks to his resourcefulness and incredible gun prowesses.

I bought a similar bolt action .22 from Kasey years ago and did pay more in shipping and transfer than I did for the rifle. It looked a little better than that one (a lot actually) but functions fine and if I could find .22 my girls can burn through it with that old rifle.

I would love to have a "youth" model with the short barrel to replace the one my brother had 50 some years ago but I'll have to pass.

I have no problem with a young guy customizing his gun. Chances are it was wasted when he got it and just had a little fun and made it his own. I guess I just like home grown folk art, even on a firearm.

If Jeffery had a passion for Redbones, heck even Blueticks, I would be all over it. But I was just never very partial to Walkers.

Just the shipping and receiving would cost almost as much as I gave for my 67A ($55). It must have belonged to Jeffrey's brother Gordy, it has Gordy scratched into the stock, though you hardly ever notice it. Must have been the style back in the day.

Wow. The deer! I bid heavy. If I win I'll try to find the name on social media and sell it back, after I'm done with it, of course. I used the same rifle as a kid for squirrels, rabbits, ducks, whatever.

This was the first gun I owned, given to me when I was about 5 / 6. My Grandfather had the stock and barrel shortened and spoiled me rotten, all the ammo a person could want. It had a chromed bolt. Remember the "pull out" ?? cocking pin was kind of hard to pull for my age.

After 1000's of rounds there wasn't a sparrow, frog or snake to be seen within a mile,, plus,, and I still feel bad about this - Meadowlarks.

I put a zillion rounds through one of theses before I was 10 years old, never felt slightest inclination to "enhance" it's look.
I bet it was a prize possession of a * hunter and Walker dog owner from the art work.

That deer face appears as though it has been gut shot few days before with that gun.

Someone ask the seller if he has the original Winchester box and if it's ever been fired.

He says it HAS A CUSTOM FINISH and very rare ONE OF A KIND. [:D]

Some of them very rare ONE OF A KIND Winchesters are one of ones and had a real low serial number or no serial number.

    Like this one for example:

Nailed it, Folk Art for sure. Be worth $5,000 on the Road Show. It has a certain naive charm.

Kasey, THAT is the best description of a gun I have read on GB! [:D][:D][:D]
I bought that abomination of a shotgun you offered a few years back, added a laminated stock and sold it about six months later for 3x what I had into it. While it doesn't work in every instance, buying occasional "treasures" like this can sometimes work out for the best.
Keep up the good work! (And yes, it does look like Rudolph's dad walked in on lil' Sweet Rudi wearing fishnets, falsies and rouge!) [:0]
