Any idea what these are? If there was a label on the box it is long gone. Got it along with a pile of these old Western Auto Revelation shells.

Assuming that's a 12 gauge shell, I'll guess that the rimfire rounds in the box are .32 Long RF.

I don't think so guys. I have seen stuff like that on the TV.

That there is an Ammunition Stockpile.

Throw in a gun or two, and you have an Arsenal.

Thanks for the hint, that gives me something to look for. I grabbed these in some box lots at an estate sale. I searches high and low for the guns that fired them, but they were apparently long gone.

Well, it's not that I'm an expert or anything, it's just a semi informed guess. I ended up with a box of ammo a couple years ago, and the good folks here on GB identified it as 25 Stevens Long. They were in an old yellow/red Winchester 9mm box. The rounds in Rusty's picture look shorter than I recall the ones I had. Sold them right here on GB for over a buck each, and the fella was darn glad to get them.

Also it looks like these are Western. Here is a headstamp from the auction side for the .25 long:

I couldn't find that headstamp anywhere. I've got a few larger rimfires in my collection that I'll have to dig out and look up.

Just flip it over. The image is upside down. [:D]

If I turned it sideways, I'd really get confused! I'd be sitting here, scratching my head, thinking "now who the hell used a parallelogram for a headstamp?"
