I have recently started carrying the .380 in the summer, the little lcp is almost un-noticable in your pocket.

A little gun is better than a big one left at home but you decide

    +1

Same thing I started this summer. And I'm loving it.

The little 9x17 is on my hip as I type this. I have a couple of 9x19's too.

I carry a single stack Kel-Tec 9 because I'm not a big guy. No way I could conceal a 1911, especially in the summer.
It's too late for me, save yourself.

I use to carry a full size gun when clothing would allow, and a compact .380 when clothes did not allow. I was never a fan of midsize guns as they did not fit my hand and were not "that much smaller" then most full guns. I carried this way for over 10 years.

Over a year ago now I bought my first compact gun, a S&W M&P 9c. This gun fits my hand so well I just had to buy it. Before buying it I did some looking at ballistics between the .380 and 9mm cause I did not think there was much. Well on paper there is quite the difference, in real life I have never had to find out.

I have a nice Comp-Tac IWB holster and carried the M&P all last summer in shorts and a T-shirt. I had no problems with either comfort of printing. So given the choice between the .380 and 9mm I would choose the 9mm whenever I could. Since I have had my M&P I have only carried the Keltec a few times.

As stated ANY gun you have on you is way better then the one that is not.

    Neither.
