    Now in a related story regarding the glasses thread. My wife came home a little while ago. I was sitting on the recliner and she asked me to log in to our bank account on the lap top. I did so and she asked me to hand the lap top to her, which I did. She then asked me can I have your glasses?? I looked to the left and then to the right. I said to her so where are they ??? She replied there on your head. [V][V]

    You asked me to let you know about my M1 Garand problem. It had a bad Barrel. I took it to "The Garand Guys" here in NJ and they are in the process of putting a new barrel on it. The other one had major problems with it but the guy didn't specify what that was.It had a citadel barrel that was brand new. He is replacing it with something else that is better. The guy I bought the gun from is paying for them to fix it. He sent them his credit card info so It didn't cost me a thing. Great guy to do business with.I very pleased with the outcome.Oak

    If you would resize your pictures before you post them it would be greatly appreciated. In my opinion 640 pixels wide is a good choice, but none should really be larger than 1024 pixels.

    Those superwide pictures make the picture impossible to see and the thread next to impossible for me (and some others) to read.

    Did you get your Power Vision yet?

    I just returned from some nice riding in the upper Minnesota area where there are lots of EAGLES, and rolling hills and pine trees..really tall pine trees.

    Anyway, riding loaded and two up mileage averaged from a low of 39.67 MPG to 44.95 MPG ... a bit less than flat roads w/cruise on.

    Love the deeper throaty sound of the exhaust and more powerful performance. [^]

    I read your post about not being able to use your cpap due to power out. I stopped by the office that services mine and got a cigarette lighter adapter for mine. That way if power goes out I have a car battery already charged up and can wire a lighter to it. I cannot sleep without mine.

    Check your email. My sister has found more about your Dad's military service this morning that includes his ship's name and his service number, which might help you in locating more of his military records, and perhaps some of his old shipmates that might still be alive who were at Pearl Harbor with him. Also, once you get this info, you can Google the ship's name and number to get started with more of your research.

    Does your Chevy Cruze have fog lights? Mine didn't come with them, but I recently had factory ones installed. Man....they are some really good fog lights! [8D]

    I had originally wanted them, but they didn't have a model with the fog lights, that met my price range. My plan was to have them installed shortly after I bought the car.....3 years later, I finally have them!

    Besides that, how has your Cruze treated you so far? We have 43,000 on my 2013 and it has done us very well.

    Thanks. We can get the 151 proof stuff up here, just not 190 proof. Maybe Costco will change that, now that they can sell it.
