A parting shot at freedom by Obama?

Was watching FBN this morning, and Napolitano opined that this executive branch order is a direct circumvention of the 4th Amendment. Apparently the actual wording of the directive is classified, but the general impression is that NSA data mining is now open for review by Law Enforcement Agencies without the annoying requirement of obtaining a search warrant.

A couple of questions to consider:

1. If the directive is as stated in the link, is this a direct assault on the 4th Amendment?

2. Given the historic positions of Trump and Sessions, is this something that they would spend any effort in overturning?

My opinion as to No. 1 is an obvious yes.

No. 2 is trickier, but I am skeptical as to whether the 'Law and Order President' or Patriot Act Jeff will lose much sleep over what we have possibly lost.

Your thoughts?

Trump openly supports "stop and frisk". It's going nowhere under his administration. I'm willing to wager it would even be expanded and bolstered.

I admit the danger, but I'd love to see the look of many GB faces if the data mining includes evidence of Hillary's treasonous acts being handed to the new AG.
    I may be a bit crazy - but I didn't drive myself.

If obtained through a valid search warrant, no problem. If done in the apparent new open door policy of the NSA, evidence should be thrown out of court, regardless of who it is.

What a ridiculously ignorant comment. Are you saying you follow every federal edict to the letter? There are currently over 5,000 federal criminal laws, with 10,000-300,000 regulations that can be enforced criminally. Within US code, there are about 20,000 federal laws just concerning firearms. So, educate yourself and dispense with the nonsense.[xx(]

    I love this argument.

    1. Don't say anything "wrong" and why worry about the 1st.
    2. Don't own guns and why worry about the 2nd.
    3. Invite the soldiers into your house for the night and why worry about the 3rd.
    4. etc.
    5. etc.
    6. etc.

Great point. Let's all jump on the mandatory universal Federal background checks for firearm purchases while we're at it.

Plenty of evidence of high crimes and misdemeanors as revealed by congress, the FBI, as well as WikiLeaks.

All the evidence is absolutely worthless when Obama's partisan DOJ decided to ignore or not prosecute.
