I just don't know if he's going to survive! Update

This dumb pup is laying under my desk as I surf the net. All of the sudden, he's screaming at the top of his lungs and runs off. I go check him out, then crawl under the desk to see what could have hurt him.

He's nearly chewed the lamp cord through! I unplugged it so I can put a new cord on it, but man, he's going to kill himself![V]

Update, he'll come to the office door, but he won't come inside, even when I call him.[}:)]

He'll be fine. Probably won't do it again.
My dogs won't go near the electric fence.

it does happen! I came home one day and the circuit breaker board to the computer was tripped, cord had teeth marks on it, and sure enough... burn marks on a molar tooth. gotta watch out for that stuff.

that may just be the painful, near-fatal lesson he needed to avoid cords.

Mom said she had a cat many years ago who had a propensity to chew phone cables (and other non-lethal cords), until it chewed on a power cord and "flew/jumped across the room". Cat lived but never touched another cable [;)]

Similar story: the cat chewed through an electric blanket cord. that dummy only learned to stay out of the bedroom....still chewed cords in other rooms. I don't know how long he lived.

Just think of all the dumb things you did as a kid. You are still here.

Ever hear the old thing of Marine Gy's. If they say "He watch this" get away very fast.

my old spaniel i had made the mistake of cocking his leg on an electric fence once...only once though [:D][:D][:D]
im sure your pup will learn his lesson..even if it had to be the hard way! [:D][:D][:D]

Have a friend that had a Black Lab and put a drop light in the dog house one winter night when the temp was supposed to be about 10 above 0. Went to check on him the next morning and he had chewed into the cord and electrocuted himself. Took a long time for my friend to get over that...
