Can it be bolted to a floor????? doesn't look like it would be easy to do.

My first thought and concern was the pistols/long guns lying on their side for any extended period of time and keeping humidity down in that cabinet.

Kind of like leaving a rifle in a case or pistol in a rug.

    Anyone else have that thought?

It's not a safe. Which I'm ok with. None of my long guns are in safes.
They are shooters and I have other things in the safe.

The cabinet is for storage and keeping the occasional gawker at bay.

My concern is the lining material.

I think we've all seen guns and said 'what were they thinking?'

I'd let someone else store their stuff for a year and tell me how it worked for them.

The cabinet is not any different then a Vista or Stanley Vidmar. Easy to break into if the point is to lock the guns up. For storage they would work well, get some of Kennedy's green felt to keep the rust away and dings away.

    That was my thought exactly.

Not sure why laying on the side would be worse than any other position. Seems like it holds a lot of guns for the space it takes up.
