It just seemed I won't be able to do what I want to do, between the bike, mustang,
It makes me mad as hell I can't do anything without paying for it the next day. I can't go hunting, fishing without help, can't change a tire now with out help. I just get so mad, at myself, never thought this day would come, I guess you could call it rage, walking in the yard, simple, next thing I know I was on my side, I was in so much pain. Its hard to explain, just how mad I get, its the damn useless feeling.

    Hey I really understand.

If it will make ya feel better you can e-mail me and call me all sorts of things and wish curses at me until you feel better. You never know it may help.

Sorry to hear about the Mustang, I have a Gran Torino that I still dream of fixing so I can drive it again.
Just smile and say nothing, let them guess how much you know.

    That's to bad Brownie.
Can't you find some local help to help you with the stang?
Maybe hire Jacob to help you get it going.

Ah, a '67 with five lugs, does it have a 289?

Anyway, very sorry for this turn of events.

A long time ago, I had a '68, sold it, and missed it ever since. It was a convertible with a 302 4-BBL (not sure how to write four barrel, [B)]), the first year of the 302.

While I'm not nearly as bad off as you, I understand the feelings you are having clearly.

I feel like I'm 80 a lot of days instead of soon to be 51.
Can't do half of the things I used to do.

Anything involving a lot of bending, kneeling, or heavy lifting will make me hurt for days.

Things that take endurance,.....I end up with tachycardia.
I probably have about 50% of the strength I did in my thirties.

    Yep,....it really sucks.

I know what you are going through. I had a flat on my Durango after it sat for a couple months. It wore me out filling the air tank and then moving it away from the curb, then having to jack it up as the tire broke away from the rim. Got the weight off it so I could pull it to the rim and put the air to it.
The Leukemia and meds have me so tired and weak it's getting to me most of the time. I haven't done a gun show for a year and half now [B)][xx(][:(!]

    It was a 289, I got a 351c to go in it.

Know how you feel. One day I was doing great, but now I almost fall everywhere I go. HATE getting old!!!! I'm pretty sure the "other" alternative would be better than this![:(]

Realy sorry to hear your story. Took my '57 T-Bird apart last December to restore it. Body and paint done but I am still in the process of putting it back together. I will be 68 in December and am in good health but my great fear in starting this project was that I would get health problems and not be able to get it back to gether. I know exactly how I would feel in your shoes. Best wishes and hope you find a good home for it.
