    I have 25 courses within 25 miles of my house, too. When I can't get on my "home" course due to a tournament or something, there's always four or five others right nearby. I normally can just walk on without a tee time anywhere I go and even play alone much of the time - and most Utah public courses are still under $25 bucks for 18 holes, walking. With my senior or military discount, some are a buck a hole. Hard to beat that, even when I'm having an "off" day. I have an 18 handicap, but often shoot in the low-mid 80s and walk the 18 holes in under three hours.
    I may be a bit crazy - but I didn't drive myself.

    My boss gave me the perfect thought process on golf........ "get your money worth, the more shots you take- the better your money spent....." so I shoot 100-120 and leave happy [:D][:D][:D][:D][:D][:D]
