I bought a few boxes of the new 5mm rimfire for my old remington and today I finally got to put it to the test. I went out to a fresh bailed hay field and waited......Nothing showed up and black storm clouds started stacking up so I headed back to the barn. There in an empty cow lot was a big fat chuck. One shot and he never new what hit him. It`s been a long time since I`ve taken anything with that gun.Going to have to scope it though as my eyes don`t work like they did when the gun was new.

what about the guys that hoarded up all the ammo... Now they can sell it at today's prices not inflated. I will buy me a 5mm soon.

I loved shooting my 5mm. Is the ammo available again.

Yes, I enjoyed my 5mm too. When I couldn't get ammo any more, I traded it in on a Remington 700 in .17 Rem. That's fun too. But now that 5mm ammo is available again, I get a twinge of regret.

Can't beat the 5MM Mag! IMHO no other rimfire comes even a close second and I have them all (and like 'em too)! But I will take any of my 591's or 592's over all of my 22Mags, 17hmr's and 17 Mach II's everyday. Get yourself a scope and a few more whistle pigs!! Enjoy!

Little pig didn`t even twitch,just went limp. Went through my scopes and don`t have one worthy of this gun so I`ll have to get a new one.
