I've been invited to a private ranch to shoot dogs but have just been informed that Oklahoma requires a license (Non-resident in my case) for this. If I'm reading the ODWC info correctly, I would need a minimum of a 5-day NR Hunt license @ $42.50 just for a weekend outing. Can anyone confirm this?
Thanks, Bill

    a license on private land?

I don't think so, landowners here don't have to have a license nor are they limited on when they can and can't shoot them as long as they are on their property and not public land

    don't know about Oklahoma

I've never heard of licensing for agricultural pests either, but according to my friend they'll take my gun if I don't have one.

In North Dakota, non residents are required to have a non-game stamp on their license. The cost here is $15.00 Residents are not required to have the non-game stamp.
