    snapped this last week. Its the setting sun seen through a sand storm in west Tx.

    This guy was just cruising down Hwy 78 like everything was hunky dory. I picture things like this is what gets the State Trooper out of bed every morning.

    That would send a Trooper's pen into overtime, but I'd also want to closely check that trailer for stolen.

    Why would it send his pen into overtime?
    He has an oversize load sign, the load is flagged, it is daylight so no infraction for being over width. The lights are working. You can read the license plate.

    What would be the excuse for pulling him over?

    That's obviously jacked up to such a degree that it seriously effects vehicle handling and creates an unsafe condition. This alone would be probable cause for his stop.

    That's before you even get around to his shortage of mirrors. [:D]

    Based upon that driver's demonstrated irresponsibility/ignorance there's no telling what else is screwed up with him and that rig.

    How would you know the load is unbalanced. Looks like roof trusses to me. Could be the heavy side is the flush side. Trailer does not look like its leaning to bad either.

    I find nothing in the Texas Century code pertaining to off centered loads.
    Obviously jacked up? Seriously? How? Where?
    Shortage of mirrors? You would have to pull along side to ascertain that fact.
