Ok there is something I fear here in Oregon. Too many fires going right now. None appear to be headed my way.

But we do seem to have somebody starting fires in the area.

This post is for the comments I made in the Hurrican topics of not understanding why people live down south with the weather problems they have.

Its not making national news cause its not threatening homes. But this fire is taking out some prime Elk hunting areas.

From the sound of it they are going to let it burn till it either burns out or states to take out residences.

I don't know where: it could be a couple hundred miles from me. But the smell of a forest fire has descended on eastern Washington. I'm not surprised.

Was that where the Emeralds played baseball in the mid 70s? I recall seeing a few games, but didn't pay much attention to the stands- guess I should have.

Watched a few ball games there, lived about a mile west (washington street)
Best friend totaled his 66 GTO right in front of the stadium.
Journey back 40+ years.
