Funny you should ask. Found a Mossberg tube feed auto in 22 short only. It was way back in the closet. Don't remember when I bought it, or from who. It's covered with dust.

Hell, I've got a single shot Stevens 12ga that needs a stock around here I haven't seen in years. I think it's in a box in the garage somewhere, maybe.

We had been talking at work about the Ithaca 37's. Stated that I had my Grandpa's 16 gauge.
When I went to look for it I was surprised that there was also a 20 gauge. Guess my dad had bought it.

I was inventorying things last year and found a Garand, a couple of 1903s and a Krag that I did not have in my records.

I don't keep written records my non-FFL transfer firearms, but these were all purchased or transferred through an FFL.

I was creating a database for my collection. I found two 1903 Springfields that I did not know I had.

Was moving all my stuff into the new gun room last week and ran across an old 20 ga. Ithaca mod 66.
Always wondered about the logic behind a single shot lever action shotgun.

I came close. I recently picked up a Colt 1903 pistol at what I thought was a reasonable price.
It wasn't until I got it home that I realized I already had one just like it.
    (Don't tell my wife.)

Yes I have. An M&P .22 along with a Sig 1911 in .22. Looked at myself in the mirror and said, "Happy Birthday".

Yep, about three years ago. A S&W Model 60 buried in the safe. I didn't remember buying it, but a check of my records confirmed the when and where and how much.

    I don't think I've ever found one I couldn't remember buying, but I've found a few I couldn't remember why I bought them.

Never had that happen. However, awhile back had a buddy return a Ruger 22 pistol and an old 870 that I loaned him about 5 years ago and forgot all about[B)]
