You forgot about the "Seller pays shipping" part. We could put it in the middle of Virginia or something. [:)]

I e-mailed the seller and asked him if he had a map of the property. He just replied that he does have one but it's actual size so he needs $10,000 for postage. [:(!]

I wrote back and asked him to just send me one acre. That way, he could ship it "parcel" post. [:D]

That is a word only recognized by the sincere at heart. Soon there will be a "forever +" stamp, and the preceding will be subject to surcharges.[:(]

That's about the size of a smallish West Texas ranch.

    Do the math on it.

Around $1500.00 per acre. It is not a bad price overall.

$1500 an acre is ridiculously high for raw, undeveloped, inaccessible land, even in Oregon.

thats only 1414.00 dollars/acre ....would damn sure and check to see if it's legit though....alot of land out here and west maybe sold as xxxx amount of acres but very little of it deeded....balance is normally federal land, reservation land with a lease.

side note i know a guy here who is farming 73,000 acres.....he does a very piss poor job of it....pry wont last long not uncommon for farm/ranch operations here to be 10,000 to 50,000 acres

Dad,brother and I farm and ranch in the five figures acre wise..own and rented land

For those who have never been, Oregon is a truly beautiful place.

But for $60,000,000USD, you better get at least half of it.
