    McGashan WWII Aerial Training Gun

This is an interesting tripod machine gun manufactured for aerial gunnery training for the likes of the B-24 bombers. It is powered by electricity and is all metal. Shoots BBs out of a belt fed cartridge case. Comes with pneumatic hoses, compressor, bag of BBs, a belt of empty cartridges. It has not been tested to see if it still works, but we do not see why some one could not get it up and running. A fun toy.

My FIL was an Arial Gunnery trainer during WW2, at Eglin Field. He saw the Doolittle raiders training for their launch off aircraft carriers.
I don't know if they used anything like that but I'll ask him if he remembers. He is 95, 96 in April. [8D]

I remember them having those at the carnivals when I was a kid , if you shot the star out of a target they would give you a stuffed toy
