I bought Tranzit IS77 or IS32 (I don't remember and I don't want to get off the couch at the moment) right before a trip to Utah. It connects to a car stereo and you can either connect an iPod (or other Apple product) directly to it or you can connect any sound producing device via a the headphone jack (it comes with a cord with a headphone style jack on both ends). I only had about 30 minutes to connect it before the trip and I didn't have the right connectors. Needless to say, it didn't work. However, because I clipped some wires a little shorter, I can't take it back. I ended up just buying a tape to headphone jack adapter and I'm just going to stick with that.
Anybody interested in the Tranzit IS77 or IS32 for free? Shipping is on me. The only thing I ask is that it go to somebody that drives a lot. I think Mudderchucker said he drives about 100K per year. It doesn't have to be THAT much, but I'd like to give it to somebody that will get some good use out of it. My wife and I use the same type of thing in the BMW to connect the laptop to the stereo so she can watch movies with "surround sound" when we go on trips.
