It's sad, but that is exactly what most liberal professors and the democrats have sold them. They have let mommy and daddy take care of their every need, now they want the taxpayer to do the same.

Kind of makes one throw up in their mouth a little, doesn't it.?

I have beat personal responsibility into my children's heads. And, despite how my in-laws live, the government is NOT supposed to provide everything for us.

This man is a genius and this is exactly why this country is in the position it's in. They wanted sheep and got exactly what they wanted.

Glad I was not raised that way. My own opinion is the education system is nothing more than a government indoctrination to dependence program.

Even in my early 40's when I took some small business management courses at the local collage I could see this agenda being pushed.

chiming in here as a younger guy:

I don't want free stuff from the government...but at the same time I do not see that when the economy tanks, I should get the shaft and the bankers should get mom and dad's tax money as a bailout...
or better yet, get their bailout from government borrowing, ie money that I will have to pay as future taxes

I both agree and disagree with the general sentiment though. In my experience there are a lot of college students who are clueless, but there's also many who are very mature and understand that there's no such thing as "free" stuff from the government. Maybe the professor has an easy class so all the boneheads take it as a "free" gen ed credit [:o)]

The Socialist Security mindset has been pushed with public school indoctrination for fifty years or more. Colleges and universities are even worse. It's no surprise that ninety percent of the skulls full of mush have bought into at least some of it.

This guy is an economics professor. If he has an easy class it's because you have to go easy trying to teach economics to a bunch of kids who can't make change for a dollar.

It's encouraging that there are professors like this out there, and that ten percent of the students seem to have their head in the right place. I hope it's enough.

Talking about the ninety-nine percent v the one percent, the one percent is perfectly willing to take charge and dictate to the rest of us. The ninety-nine percent are doing themselves no favor by insisting they do just that.
The road to hell is paved with COMPROMISE.

I think we ought to ship all the "en-titlists" over to China where the Government WILL give them what they need to survive. Just don't let know them that the Government will expect them to work for it. Communism is the only way having the Government feed you works [xx(]
