Ivory, my take on current laws.

Ivory is in much demand for many uses. When law enforcement people destroy ivory taken from poachers it just drives the demand and prices up even more due to it being even more rare. I believe the powers that be even destroy ivory from elephants that died of natural causes like old age and disease. This seems so stupid. I say keep the ivory from natural deaths and sell it thus taking some of the demand from the alive elephants. And that is all I have to say about that.

I Have thought the same thing just license it and the dealers and sell it
I do not own any but a set for my colt 45 acp would be great


same with "blood diamonds" I do not see a ban on all diamond's due to the cost of humanity I know there is laws but bet they still get around them

It probably won't be too long before most of the African animals that are poached for ivory/horns are gone. After that the people will be out of business and probably start killing each other more often.

That would be a good idea, but how about the legal collector that would pass this one that he poached as a natural death.
