I hate eBay

I dont know about you but eBay and paypal suck. They have these dumb rules that always seem to mess with me. I had 50 en bloc clips listed. They had been there for 6 days some hours and had only 2 hours left. They were up to 102.00! for 50. Needless to say I was pleased. Then all of a sudden gone. Some how this item is against the rules. Yet I've seen them sell all the time. I relisted as paper weights.[;)] But I assume they are calling them high cap mags yet they are not mags. Either way I think ebay is getting to big for itself. Making up rules to please them. Plus they cost a fortune between paypal and eBay fees..........Gunbroker would kick the crap out of eBay in a fight and I would watch it on pay-per view!

After the ban on high cap mags. I listed one of those cheap eagle 30 rounders for a 10/22. I held it in my hand so people who knew what they where seeing would know. And said it would hold ten rounds. At the time that was ok. It brought over 70 bucks. I kept getting emails saying the auction would probably get pulled. But it never did.

I stopped using them a few years ago. They have no customer support. And do nothing to dead beat sellers. The fact that they are based in kalifornia is another sore spot.

Ebay is crap. I remember I was trying to sell an AR barrel on it, and they killed my auction. There are antigun loosers who don't even work for ebay, who stalk auctions and report you to ebay.

You have to really run your auction either buy now, or on a three day auction. If your lucky, it will go thru.

Ebay is antigun, but they know they will loose big money if they get rid of the hunting section. ALso you should put a clause that if the auction gets cancelled they can email you and post your email address.

Yeah, it's on San Fransisco Bay, the East side, South of Oakland. That's why it's called eBay. I used to pass by it every day.

eBay is in San Jose, CA. Also called the South Bay. So it should be called sBay not eBay.[:D][:D]

    eBay Inc.
    2145 Hamilton Avenue
    San Jose, CA 95125

    From Wikipedia,
The company officially changed the name of its service from AuctionWeb to eBay in September 1997. Originally, the site belonged to Echo Bay Technology Group, Omidyar's consulting firm. Omidyar had tried to register the domain name echobay.com (the domain has recently been put up for sale) but found it already taken by the Echo Bay Mines, a gold mining company, so he shortened it to his second choice, eBay.com.[5]

I love Ebay! I sell lots of junk there and use the money to buy guns. Hate them all you want, I'll go on adding to my collection while you drool over your next dream gun wondering how you are going to afford it.[:D]

Yep, when people could still 10 round magazines, I bought lots of 20 round M1A magazines on there. People would word it "will hold 10 rounds" or "standard military issue" or they might not say but you could look at the picture and tell by the lenght to width ratio that they were 20 rounds.

    Got Guns?

Can't say I love them, and I agree w/many of the statements about how they are screwed up.
But none the less, eBay is a good resource. When you can't find it anywhere else, it'll likely be on eBay soon.
IMO until they banned certain gunparts, it was my BEST source for vintage parts. Better than Numrich and other vendors, or the gun auction websites.
I don't use them nearly as much as I used to. But they come in handy sometimes.

I wonder if you get flagged then if you more stuff on there they keep an "extra" eye on you? As for you wording "50 en bloc clips" I would've used 50 pieces of en block paper weights[:D]. I would also classify them in diferent catagory, too.

I've sold lots of items on eBay for good money that I wouldn't have gotten a dime for in a yard sale. Plus I've bought several items off of eBay and saved lots of money compared to retail. I just bought a control board (circuit board) for our HVAC and saved over $50.00.

eBay may not be gun friendly; but, it still serves a purpose and I will continue to do business on eBay.

Then how would any buyers find them?

Maybe you have to put them in there subliminally, like:

"FIFTY original paper CLIPS by French designer EN BLOC and used at the MGM1 GARAND Hotel" [:D]

I'm sure they are just waiting till the monthly billing cycle then they will cancel. it should change their name to www.d-bag.com Good thing is 2 people who wanted them got a hold of me. I have a garbage bag full on enbloc clips. Hope fully they want 300 each at 100.00 for 50. Personally I would never pay that much for en bloc clips but without them the garands a single shot.
