I'm in trouble now

We have 2 female cats that live outside and my wife has an appointment to get them fixed tomorrow morning. So normally I feed them on the deck in the morning around 5:30 and the come right up to me. She wants them caught tonight, so one was easy, then put it in the dog crate and into the garage. Second one, not so much.
She had it once and it got out of the animal carrier before she could get the door shut.

Now it's weary of us. It goes into the garage to see its sister, I close the door and ask her to help me catch it. its running behind and und stuff and I nab it with the fishing net. It's struggling to get out. Here's the bad part - I yell for her to go get the animal carrier from the deck. Nothing. Cat becoming the devil here, I take cat and net to the deck and holler for her to tip up the carrier, cat jumps out under the rim of the net, gone.

Now I'm in trouble because I yelled.[:(]

This could take a couple days to wear off. She also wants me to help transfer the caught cat into the smaller carrier so she can take it in in the morning. Great cat claws, this will be a challenge!

Dori and I Were Shopping The other Day For Christmas. Dori suddenly noticed that I was missing and as We had a lot to do, so she called Me on the mobile.

Dori said " Where are you, you know we have lots to do."

I said "You remember the jewelers we went into about 10 years ago, and you fell in love with that diamond necklace? I could not afford it at the time and I said that one day I would get it for you?"

Little tears started to flow down her cheek and she got all choked up.

"Yes, I do remember that shop." she replied.

"Well I am in the gun shop next door to that."[^]

But these two have cut the mouse population back to where I only went through one bait container of mouse poison this last winter.
We've just about run out of people to give kittens to!

I have a big problem with any pet that is left to roam outside on its own. Cats in particular will kill anything they can catch for fun as well as for food. They are indiscriminate killers and kill a lot of wildlife that I don't want killed. You are also asking for them to be killed by cars or other animals.

    +1

I live in the country but there is a major road that goes by my place. People drop cats off all the time. I see them in the woods and find bunnys and birds they kill.

I am sorry for your problems but I don't have much sympathy.

I have to agree with FK41............pop pop done.

i agree ! the only good cat is a dead cat!!!

when i was a teenager i hunted with a friend and his Dad, he shot a cat in the field, i asked why, he then educated us kids about the destruction on small game, song birds etc. ever since then i have killed every cat i saw in the field..., and where it did not belong. my estimated cat kill is somewhere in the hundreds !!![:D]

I was instructed, years before I could hunt with anything but a stick. Then told again to do the same by the instructors at Hunter Safety School.
Obviously, if the cat is fat,has a collar with a bell on it,it's probably someones pet. If I saw it in the woods,it got blasted.
I have seen entire nests of baby Cottontails killed and never eaten by cats.Dead Pheasant and their Chicks slaughtered and left to rot. Quail,Killdeers,Ducks,U name it..Songbirds and game birds take the brunt of it I think...SAD.
