the reason some don't do it is because if the check bounces, they still get nailed for $12. Not worth the risk of losing $12 on a $20 item.

I do not sell much on auctions (I buy, not sell) but when I do, my terms are usually cash, check, money order, precious metals, gemstones, livestock, or nubile maidens. [:p]

Usually gets a few laughs and additional bidders.
