I can't find any links to the original report but it is being widely publicized on firearms friendly venues that the CDC has concluded concealed carry reduces violent crime overall.

Maybe this is what you were thinking of. Barry ordered the CDC to study gun violence and they did. The study got put on the back burner because it did not endorse Barry's views and was therefore ruled as racist(Not really I just added that[:D])
