Just the usual spats, Grammar Police, and "Lookit What I got" threads...
Looking forward to more of your posts here and you better stick with the 9MM at least until you get past the part about the bowel and bladder warnings![:0]
Your post op requirements almost sound as bad as when Randy Quaid (playing Cousin Eddie in Christmas Vacation) mentioned the part about peeing his pants, every time his wife used the microwave![:D]
Just lay low and let the Mrs. dote on you a while. I wish you all the best for a fast and speedy recovery!

Prayers asked for your healing
Feel better soon.
All kidding aside, he did have a bad fall off the roof and broke himself up real good. Gravity was not his friend. This was a bad one.
Good to see ya back Woody, go slow and, for once, listen to the docs.

So what exactly did they do to your back??
<----back issues here too...likely surgery at some point.
Love to hear what you had done and where on the spine. As I recall you had low back issues (as do I). Mine are at L4/L5 and L5/S1 (basically right at the belt line).
Just as you learned you can't break the law of gravity, learn to heed the instructions of the doctors!! Depends are for old people and astronauts...[:0]

Sorry to hear that. I had the same thing and it was a real pain having to get someone to help me every time I needed to take a leak. [;)]
Take it easy and get well soon. [:)]
is a sad part of life [B)] for most all of us
just sit back and take it easy even when you heal up its going to be difficult to not jump in or take on something you should not
old habits die hard
God speed to a fast recovery .
I have had 3 surgeries done on my lower back over the coarse of 25 years.
The first procedure, I'm pretty sure is no longer done or even known about these days. I will try to spell it...."Chemonucleolysis"
This was first developed in Canada when they discovered an enzyme derived from the papaya fruit that dissolved cartilage.
This enzyme was injected into the bulging disc of the spine, dissolving the problem and taking away the pressure to the nerves.
Had it done back in early 1984. It gave some temporary relief but may have caused other back issues that put me up on the operating table a few years later.
I will not bore everyone with my stories but will just add that I had a titanium "cage" bolted into my lower back about 10 years ago. It basically fused the lower 3 vertebrae.
It sure is a beoch trying to cut my toenails and lacing up my boots these days!![xx(]
I always recommend to anyone that if you have any kind of a choice, only go the surgical route as a LAST RESORT!
