Never tried this type, just got my other kit (sold out) and it really looks great.

Anybody have any experience with their Brick and Morter Stores.

Went in to buy AR15 Pistol Lower. Had to locate the item and hunt down counter help to pay for the item. Required you to give them a phone number to put on top of form 4473 (their ATF agent wants to keep track of who filled the form out if there are problems). Salesman stated if it wasn't assemble by PSA as a pistol then it will be listed as "other". In an attempt to understand where these requirements came from, the sales person didn't like me questioning his requirements and said I was out of order and may not sell the item to me. At that point I tore up the form up and they were trying to make a Federal Case out of me tearing the form up.

Needless to say, I didn't close the sale and will not return to the store in the future.

BTW: If you order online and have shipped to store for delivery there is a FEDEX shipping fee but no transfer fee.

Let me start by saying I love their products, service, and prices.

However, lately their warehouse guys have been screwed up. In my last 3 orders, all 3 ended up recieving something other than I ordered.

    1) Ordered a upper half minus the BCG and charging handle, it was the right upper, but they added in a strikefire that I didn't order. I emailed them to explain this and we agreed to them selling it to me discounted.

    2) I ordered 2 LPKs and 2 stocks. I received 3 LPKs and one stock. I emailed them, the sent out the stock and a return label for UPS.

    3) I ordered an upper and a charging handle. I got the upper, but no charging handle. Emailed them and they sent out the charging handle.

Now, the orders came through fine, and the reciepts in the packages matched up to what I ordered, but the product inside didn't match the receipts. Their CS department has been great, and fixed the problems extremely fast. Its just weird that they screwed up every order I've made in the past couple months.

I have no idea how to respond to this.
Some will die in hot pursuit
    And fiery auto crashes
Some will die in hot pursuit
    While sifting through my ashes
Some will fall in love with life
And drink it from a fountain
That is pouring like an avalanche
    Coming down the mountain

I think this email sales system is overwhelming them.
I get a new email from them everyday with something on sale.

    I'm holding out for a 20" 1/7 upper.

Sometimes businesses grow so quickly they overwhelm themselves and then get bad reps for shoddy service, etc. I've heard/read no negatives on the quality of their stuff, so maybe it's time management went down to the customer service floor and got things going in the right direction in the shipping areas.

Someone was complaining on one of the other gun boards that Palmetto told them it would take a week for them to ship out his order.

    Oh the HORROR.

That's one thing I love about PSA, they are far faster in shipping out AR parts than most anyone else, and I've never ordered something just to find out later it is out of stock. Most online AR parts businesses take weeks or months to ship.

I ordered toaster from them a while back, never got a confirmation email saying it shipped. I called and was told it would be here the next day, and it was. their website said orders would be delayed because they were behind, got it 3 or 4 days after placing my order.

I bought several of their stripped lowers at their screamin black friday price..59.99...later I bought a Dissipator upper so now I have a complete PSA rifle. I didn't have any problems with my orders, and they shipped quickly.

sounds like the picker/packer in the warehouse needs a talking to.

thats not much above a minimum wage job though. good help is hard to find and even harder when the work doesnt justify enticing wages.

i would actually bet he's probably already been fired or transferred. you cant let that sort of thing go on too long. if 3 of your orders were incorrect(you didnt specify a time frame) that could end up being thousands of orders overall...
