Do most folks down there even have heating systems that work in that environment? I bet most folks have heat pumps, if they don't have an electric or gas emergency furnace, or a fire place they are chit out of luck.

33 degrees warmer here this morning in SE Idaho, now a +15, yesterday morning was -18. And we picked up a couple more inches of snow over the night.
Looks like it may snow all day.

Enjoy it while you can, spring will be here in 4 months or so.

Heat pumps around here are rare. Most have natural gas HVAC units. Plus we have a natural gas fireplace as many others do.

Thank goodness we're on a warming trend here in our area of East Texas. It was 28 when we headed out to Church this morning; it's a balmy 48 right now. It's supposed to get up to 70 later this week.

I spent most of the day outside in -3 to 10 degree temps. I got paid pretty well for it, too.

Wow, I sure miss that weather

70? or better today. Took the bike out for a great ride. Ran across some target tanks in the desert.
