Ain't that special

So, I'm cruising down the interstate, headed back to the office after lunch. About a 1/2 click from the exit I almost mated a small green car. (I'm driving a high top conversion van and have a short person complex.)

Anyway, this dude is putting along at mach nothing, doing 50 in a 70. I come to a screeching slowdown because there is too much traffic to go around the challenged driver so I'm stuck behind him until I get to my exit.

Well, seeing as karma is not my friend he exits so I'm still behind him. Now, I'm close enough to him to get a better idea of why he is having issues.

He has an Arkansas license plate with a "Roll Tide" plate holder. Just to the right of the plate is a bumper sticker with a racecar and the number 29.

It gets even better, his car was a Prizm. (Surprised it was even able to move let alone tempt fate and drive on the interstate.)

As we come to a stop I discover that it didn't end there. He had a Glock sticker in his rear window.

So much for that lucky penny I found today.....[8D]

I'm failing to see many of the connections.
Some will die in hot pursuit
    And fiery auto crashes
Some will die in hot pursuit
    While sifting through my ashes
Some will fall in love with life
And drink it from a fountain
That is pouring like an avalanche
    Coming down the mountain

The Prism had about 100 HP and 100 ft/lbs of torque. He was wide open, foot flat on the floor with his left foot standing on top of the right, the car would not go any faster!!! [:D]

Reminds me of an '80 Mazda GLC I used to have. I could draft along pretty good at about 60, but if I wanted to pass anyone, I had to turn off the air conditioner. No foolin'. I tried one time but could not break through the "bow wave" of compressed air near the front of the car I was trying to pass. It just couldn't do it. I killed the AC and picked up enough HP to just barely break through and complete the pass. [;)][:D]

Driver was a contradiction on wheels and in my way!!

SEC fans will attest to the fact that if you have Arkansas plates, you better not be an Alabama supporter. [}:)]

I have noticed that if there is a NASCAR sticker on a car it is almost always driving slower than everyone else.
    Hmmmm.

It WILL go faster. You have to turn off the radio. Draws too much of the available power, y'know.

He was afraid he might hit a bump and break his plastic gun.
