That kind is not fun, the glue works! I have done that trick a few times.
Have you not figured out that you are not supposed to cut yourself?[;)] Some people should just not play with knives and such.[:o)][:o)]

My old neighbor cut his arm off at the elbow building a whirly-gig in his garage. A dog grabbed the servered limb and took off into the woods with us kids chasing it to get the poor man's arm back. He poured turpentine on the wound and tied it off with some twine then drove his stick shift VW to the hospital one handed. We never found where ol' Wags had hid his arm. He never held a grudge against that dog either. His name was Clyde Council. Use to come at us with his green bottle of turpentine everytime we got cut, scratched or mangulated. You'll only let a fella do that once.

I remember it! Mom thought it was the cure-all for everything. Made me think twice about telling her anything hurt!
They outlawed it. I forgot what it had in it, but it's now banned!

I have no sympathy.

It contains opium.

Another item on ZULU's "doesn't have" list...

Dead people can get away with it. Don

Yes very addictive. I remember liking it when my mom gave it to me in the 40's. I wanted some more but she would not give it to me. I remember that it was very relaxing.

I hate getting cut like that...It hurts...for days to come. I have matching scars on LH index and middle finger from "trying to remove share-bolts from a chisel plow w/airwrench and 'bare fingers'. 'Bare fingers' now have marks from 'very deep cuts'....that match!

That's what I usually do...
Paregoric is not an ILLEGAL drug. It is a prescription drug. It was sold over the counter in the 60's. If you want some, ask your Doctor for a script.
Alcoholic solution of opium and camphor first prepared in the 18th century.
