It intrigues me. Rarely mentioned on here. Anybody have one, shoot one, love one, hate one? Seems a mite big for concealed carry, but a mighty nice truck or nightstand gun.

Shot a clone and loved it. Friend of mine competes in IDPA with one and is darn good with it.

Never shot one, but have always wanted to. Probably the best feeling gun in my hand though.

I just sold one yesterday to a co-worker. Mine was a .40, it was very accurate. The one I bought was from 2003 so I had to replace the extractor spring because of extracting issues(probably the reason the last person sold it). Once I replaced the extractor spring it ran like a champ. The ergonomical grip is comfortable, though it was too big for my hand, I had to adjust my grip to manipulate the safety. That was the only negative for me and I never felt comfortable carrying it for that reason. The polycoat is a very durable, good looking finish. I would recommend one they are really high quality pistols, and a great value.

i had the first cz 75 that came out . the cz was voted best combat handgun of 1986 (not sure of year but close)it is and still one of the best feeling in your hand handgun you will have.
currently i have the cz P07 compact hicap 9mm.
i qualified with the cz75 for my first time conceal carry test.

the only black polymer handgun i own (P07)way way far better than a gock.

you will not regret owning a CZ75 or any of there product line.

I have A CZ 75 BSA. Very nicely built gun, tight and accurate. Unlike American pistols the slide rides on grooves on the inside of the frame rather than the outside.

I have owned several. Bought in Germany in 1983 for the paltry sum of $148 NIB. Hard to keep when I could sell for a grand in the states.

Somehow I managed to keep the first one. It is a great shooter and out of the box SA/DA trigger pull is the best of all 9s. It is accurate and the other than a Berretta M9, it will work with any type ammo.

I have fired probably all 9mm pistols made in the 80s and up. The ones that really stand out are IMHO, Berretta SB series, HK P7, SIG 225, and the CZ 75.

I have one I got at a Rod and Gun Club in Germany in 1985. Its a "real" one made in CZ.

I like it the only problem I have is at some point in time they changed the magazine geometry and the new mags don't fit. I only have 3 mags for it but its a good shooting gun. They feel very good in the hand almost as good as a BHP.

Very good gun. I've owned one for several years and it would be my SHTF gun.

I have a CZ-75bd 9mm that I carry daily. Mine is the decoker model, I installed a Cajun Gun Works spring kit, the trigger is splendid! I carry the pistol with a 19 round MecGar magazine, so I have 20 rounds of 9mm ready to go. I also put on a set of VZ grips and improved an already ultra ergonomic grip. The pistol shoots very accurately, it is not picky about the weight or type of bullet. It shoots my cast Lyman bullets just as good as any plated or jacketed bullet. I have NEVER had a malfunction, and have fired well over 1000 rounds in the last 6 months, probably over 1500 (I have a Dillon 650 and a range in my backyard).

If you have the chance to get a CZ-75 get one. It is as good as a BHP in my book, and the CZ-75 decocker is maybe even better if you are a lefty like me, no safety to deal with just draw and shoot.

I own a CZ SP-01 tactical in 9mm. As others have mentioned it feels really good in the hand and the accuracy out of the box is on par with my much more expensive H&K. Heavy and solid. I really enjoy shooting it and plan on using it in local IDPA's.

Having said that, there are 2 things that bother me. If you field strip it and look inside, it looks like someone carved it out of a piece of metal with a chisel (slight exaggeration, but you get the point). It's very rough inside and makes you wonder how much more accurate it could be if they were milled more smoothly.

The second thing that bothers me is the trigger. In double action you need to be Hercules to shoot it. In single action the trigger is a bit creepy before the break and has a very long reset. Cajun Gunwerks has trigger kits to fix these for a few hundred bucks though.

Overall, love the gun but it could be so much better.

The spring kit I got from Cajun Gun Works was about $23.00 delivered.

I had one since just before the ban. Well, it is an 85B, the ambidextrous version. Shot it a lot over the years when 9mm was $5 per box. All i had to do over the years was replace springs and one firing pin, but even with a broken firing pin it would shoot four or five times before it jammed. Also picked up a Kadet kit as well for shooting 22lr in it. Made of real steel and they will not wear out.
