    Nunn, as I recall Texoma is an impoundment on the Red River, so I could belive there are some map turtles there. They are among the coolest turtles I know, with some found only in a single river system. There is a Texas map turtle, Graptemys versa I think, that is a really neat one, with a limited range and I think in touble in part of its range.
