Please respect the forum rules prohibiting the posting of competing websites.

http://forums.gunbroker.com/PostingGuidelines.asp

Additionally, you may want to utilize a "spell checker" for your site as there are numerous misspellings.

"Amedment" should read "Amendment"
"Annoucements" should read "Announcements"
"Gerneral" should read "General"

I understand banning links to competing sales sites, but are other discussion forums also not mentionable?

That forum site also has a "for sale" forum, so it does cross the line on the rules.

Dude, EVERY discussion forum has a section for buying and selling. That does not make them competition for a site like GB.

Is this the specific ruling from CaptFun or your interpretation? This needs to be clarified.

IMO it's ridiculous to prohibit mention of a discussion forum because they have a want ad section.

Not a "want ad" section, and actual "for sale" section. Not every forum has a "for sale" section, or at least I haven't found one on this forum other than the auction side.

I didn't delete the other post, and I didn't check with the boss, but since they are selling, I would guess, at least to some degree, they were competing.

I'm not going to argue either side, but I can see why the other recruting post was deleted.

If you want a clarification, email the Captain and ask him. I'm don't have a dog in the hunt.

I didn't delete it either, so it must have been CaptFun or Nunn. Obviously, they don't want it in the forum.
