going to put sleeves and pistons and bearings in tomorrow hope all goes well, if not any john deere men out there?

    Hey forgemonkey will that thing pull a double bottom 12" or do you have to stick to a single bottom one. . I have never sold one bigger then a 7000 series.

    damn I will have to get me some bigger wrenches , wonder how much horse power that puts out all turned up ?

    There, I fixed it for you... Horse power is for top end driving, torque is for low end pulling.

    2800 Hr think it has broken comp ring wont start with out starting fluid. its a 401-C Back-hoe loader

    no glow plugs, I will know in a few hours when we pop the sleeves out the pan and head are off let ya all know tonight

    Do a compression check on each cylinder might tell more. Have you ruled out the fuel pump, etc?

    nothing drastically wrong, ring ridge was enough to hold up sleeve with your finger nails, the injection pump is good . rebuild the head next week and will put in new nozzles and if there is any money left I will rebuild the injector pump

    Probably about 560 hp....
