I went to the pain doctor yesterday and my doctor took me off Morphine ER and put me on Oxycottin ER and Oxycodone. I am on 120 mg a day.
She told me the government says i should only get 60 mg a day of this pain med.
I wish i could give my pain to someone for a week and see how they handle it.[:)]
Its mean but it would be funny to watch and laugh at them.

Pain receptors and the brain to interpret. That is why nerve blockers work so well.
Not long ago our tv station did a piece on FDA reversal on a substance ban. https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2016/oct/14/kratom-dea-ban-reversal-culture-shift This is just the first link that popped up. Did not read it, do not know if they praise or lambast Kratom. But the fact that the FDA reversed its position on a drug/substance is quite noteworthy. This has never happened before, reversing a ban that is.
I did some quick study and decided to try it.
I only take a tiny amount and it helps me out alot.
If somebody posted up cheap ammo, you'd pay attention. There would be all sorts of accolades and Kudos for a great find.
This isn't the first time I have mentioned Kratom for pain management and anxiety. It is legal, it is herbal and it is not harsh like opioids and doesn't cause the bowel restriction and "acts" on the brain "like" an opioid would. But NOT an opioid.
I would love to hear some feedback from somebody here besides me who has and does use it. Tons of testimonials on the net about the product.
And it is my opinion that you are way past running this past your doctor. They are not getting it right, so why listen to them any longer, unless you like whining and crying about poor medical and severe pain.
And my advice would be to start with small doses to see how you react to it, and slowly increase to a level that is acceptable. I was fortunate small doses did it for me, and only take on occasion when I start to hurt again. It's all in your head. Manage it with natural product.
Sorry you feel you are in such horrible pain. You do know that it is all in your head right?

If you read the part that I highlighted in red on the side effects, I don't think it'd be a good idea to recommend this drug to dave1965, he had said he has an anger management issue already to begin with
Also if you read the side effect that I highlighted in green, that would explained to your posts here.[;)]:
A person using this drug may not expect or want the following undesirable effects of kratom:
Edginess, nervousness
Vomiting (can be severe and prolonged)
Nausea (can be severe and prolonged)
Sweating
Itching
Constipation
Delusions
Lethargy
Respiratory depression
Tremors
Aggressive or combative behavior
Psychotic episodes
Hallucinations
Paranoia
Since the drug is also addictive, one of the effects can include compulsive use of the drug despite the harm that is being done to one??s mental state or life.
Addiction effects may include:
Loss of sexual desire
Loss of weight
Darkening of skin on face
Constant cravings that drive one to use more of the drug
Withdrawal effects of kratom are very similar to those of opiates like heroin or prescription painkillers.
They include:
Diarrhea
Muscle pain
Muscle tremors and jerking
Restlessness and sleeplessness
Severe depression
Crying
Episodes of panic
Sudden swings of mood
Irritability
Vomiting will kill me. I have Addisons disease and if i throw up over 1 day i have to go to the ER and have my medss for Addisons and Thyroid problems.
There is no was i want delusions. I have enough problems.
There is no way i am even thinking of taking anything that will make me aggressive or combative behavior. I try my best to be as nice as i can.
Psychotic episodes, hallucinations, paranoid, these side effects are more than i will try.
You do know that it is all in your head right?
I only take a tiny amount and it helps me out alot.
.
if it's all in your head why do you take anything at all ?
we all know how the nervous system works, our involuntary breathing and heartbeat is "all in our head" too, but it doesn't make it any less real
I can tell you have never real freakin pain
I had no real idea just wanted to find a way to help my back pain a few friends had went got injection in the lower back and good for a year + that what I was expecting
so my visit we talked he wanted to "try and suggested" taking 4 Tylenol a day after coming home I realized he wants me to stop taking what works for me
I currently take Tramadol it was off the radar 3 years ago when I started thru my family doctor .
after thinking on the visit I realize he is trying to get me off the prescription stuff .
I called them today told them no way did I want to go thru withdraw and needed my Tramadol refiled ..the Tylenol tears up my stomach relieves no pain just adds frustration to the party
so far no response waiting on the doctor to check his voice mail relay to the nurse and then back to me on his thoughts .
I have a follow up meeting next Monday I am hoping for the best but I have a feeling its not going to be no fun for the doctor
compared to a lot of you I am just small potatoes when it comes to pain and my issue ( minor but a distraction and nusance pain 24/7 )
My thoughts and prayers go out to all of you with serious pain and having to deal with the PC BS

By saying there isn't much in his head, it's implying that there is something there. And you're wrong about that, there's nothing there to begin with
The pain is your choice. You will deal with it any way that suits you.
If I took what they are claiming as dosage below, I would be gagging and vomiting and hallucinating too. 1/8 teaspoon is my dose. 1 small capsule (about)
Search: benefits of Kratom
"Some of the most interesting health benefits of kratom leaves include their ability to: lower blood pressure
relieve pain
boost metabolism,
increase sexual energy
improve the immune system
prevent diabetes
ease anxiety
help with addiction
eliminate stress
and induce healthy sleep"
Search: side effects of Kratom
"Expected opioid-like side effects that may occur with kratom in the dose range of 5 to 15 grams include:
Sedation.
Nausea.
Sweating.
Dry mouth.
Increased urination.
Loss of appetite.
Itching.
Constipation."
I bought 30 grams about a half year ago and still have about half left. I have given some away for others to try.
Your experience could go either way. I would expect you to be smart enough to know which one is working. It's not like it costs millions of dollars. There are different qualities, so be careful to buy from reputable vendor.
If you want more info, search out testimonials for both good and bad. Be educated.

Joke all you want, Dave is in pain, what's your solution? I've had friends whose lives were ruined by prescription drugs. Not that funny really. If there is an herbal remedy that is not breaking the bank, don't you think it is worth a look and possibly try?
Have you taken Kratom? What are your personal experiences with it? It isn't for everybody. What dosage did you take?
I drank a case of PBR and had relentless urination, so I drank a quart of Jack and got real real sick. How can this be?
So why do you want him to suffer? Did he piss you off too? [8D]

Dave, please send it to the jailer at Durham, N.C., for further dissemination [:p]
