Hey all, I flew in to San Fran this morning for business. This town is incredible. Amazing food, awesome beer, great sights....

They've got me holed up at the Hilton Union Square downtown. This place is so nice...

I've stayed at that one. I think Gashauler is still in town too. Maybe we can go throw some lead down range.

A beer or two at least! I flew in, so I'm unarmed....I don't like it.

I got a chance to spend the better half of a day there when I was 18. We ate at Fisherman's Wharf.....Bubba Gump Shrimp I think. It wasn't until we were walking the streets after eating, that my buddy, his uncle(who we were staying with) and I found out they had a Hooters in town. [:(]

We didn't tour it, but took some pictures of Alcatraz. I thought that the Golden Gate Bridge was pretty cool and found the Bay Bridge(after the collapse) to be really neat. My dad works on and builds bridges, so I probably have more interest in them then others though.

I wish I could remember the name of the other restaurant we ate at. They had some really good burgers and sandwiches on Texas Toast.

    Anyways, enjoy your stay Cubs.

Go to Chinatown and play that "What is that and you sure you can eat that?" food tour. Also get your Dim Sum on. That reminds me it's too bad Sam Wo's is closed.

If my property taxes weren't due soon I would've came down and snacked with youse.

What is your schedule like this week?

Dang - Just saw this. Work in SF and live across the bay. I see you are leaving Saturday. Would take you shooting if you were around. Enjoy the city. Don't know if you are into history but Fort Point is very cool. Bay cruse is also fun (full disclosure - my son is a captain for them) Maratime museum is also cool and an easy walk from the warf.

    Go to the buena vista.

    Have some Irish coffee.

    It's worth the cab fare.

Sears for breakfast. Not too far from where you're staying.

LOL. I'm not sure Cali will accept my Indiana CCL.

I walked 10+ miles today. Here to Coit Tower, all of the piers, Fisherman's wharf, Ghirardelli square, the "Mrs.Doubtfire" house, Chinatown, etc. I will do the "I don't know what it is, but I'm gonna eat it" tour on Friday.

Had a couple amazing meals today. Chowder's for lunch and the Irish House for dinner. Drank a few beers by our 16th Floor pool today with some colleagues. Now hitting the bed.

CalRugerFan, both days have some networking meetings afterwards. I think they are done by 6ish (local time). Wednesday is a big dinner with colleagues at the Franciscan CrabHouse.

Haven't been there in a long time. Great town for walking around, seeing the sites and pigging out on good eats.

Today's conferences are over, networking and a product expo next, until 6. Big dinner/party at the Exploratorium tonight at 630.

Lunch was incredible, Green Curry with razor clams and shrimp, Thai noodles with tofu, Thai beef waterfall salad, etc.
