    reliable, yes. A gun, no.

I have a first generation P3AT so basically the same gun but with a bigger bore but it loses the last shot hold-open of the original .32. Many of the early internal extractor like mine had FTE issues but mine never has. It is my all day every day carry gun; but only after shooting it enough to satisfy my concerns. I have since fired several thousand rounds through it with still no feeding issues.

The later models with the external extractors are said to be more reliable.

I also had a 1st gen P3AT, it was reliable with HP & FMJ ammo. I gave it a Kel Tec fluff & buff right out of the box and never looked back.
Enemies of armed self-defense focus on the gun. They ignore the person protected with that gun.

I've carried my P32 for the last ten years or so with no problems. I've shot about 500 rounds through it too. That is a lot of rounds for that little gun, but it still works fine.

Horrible accuracy beyond 25', but I don't use it for that! It is the gun I carry most, because my other carry guns are just too damned heavy and bulky for AZ.

Well worth the money. A small gun is better than no gun!

I have two .32 autos, a CZ27 and a mdl 1914 Mauser. I would not want to take a bullet from either one. I've carried both before.

I currently own 3 Kel-Tecs. I believe they are an under-appreciated gun mnfgr. on the market.

I like each one of my Kel-Tecs.

I'd say if your tempted, pull the trigger. (So to speak.)

if you have shot several thousand rounds through a P32 or P3AT, it is nearing the end of service life. website says 6000, or more with good care.
