Trump is going to surround himself with seccessfull business people. It's about time this country is ran like a business, I predict the no more buying $100,000.00 toilets, and $10,000.00 crescent wrenches#128516;. And as a result, the deficit will drop

IMHO he is an honorable and capable person. His skills ,at least with the Olympics showed him to be good at working towards a solution.

We do think alike. I have no doubt that he would be another warmonger like The Hildabeast...no doubt whatsoever. Trump could not in any way control this man from ruling like the typical progressive coastal elite that he is. Just my two cents.

I would prefer to see, Newt Gingrich, as Sec. State.

I personally do not care for Mitt Romney. I agree, an honorable man. Just not the man, we need at this point.

I was never a big fan of Newt, while he was in office. However, having listened to him speak, on a number of issues over the course of this past election cycle.
He is a very smart, articulate, competent presence, with a firm grasp on current affairs, and the World in general. I could get behind, that pick.

I'm hopeful, the meeting, was just to iron out their differences. I am hopeful, Donald Trump, would not offer Mitt Romney the job of Sec./State.

I am also hopeful, confident, that Romney, would not accept
    the position.

Maybe he would?? I don't know the mans mind. I'm hopeful, not.

There's nothing honorable about what Romney thinks about the Confederate flag, and how he treated the kid from Texas that asked him about it.

I do think Newt should get this post.

Romney reminds me of John Kerry. 2 peas in a pod.

I think Gingrich would be a great Sec. of State.

He knows politics, articulate and smart.

Either Gingrich or Bolton would be preferable to Romney.

I saw Rand Paul whining about Bolton on TV this AM and threatening to withhold his Senate vote.

Thanks Kentucky, for electing that insufferable weenie.

The choice is less important than the Policy the Secretary is told to sell. Mitt has the charm to sell it across the globe. He is an honorable and quite successful man.

The report I saw on Fox said that it was probably a courtesy to Romney, to mend fences. Trump showing he wants a united Party.

He could be on the list, but likely not.

I'd prefer to see Rudy or Bolton, both tough SOB's.

I think he's like the Hildabeast, i.e. a rogue warmonger in the OBama cbinet. I don't think Obama wanted the conflicts that she was involved with, but maybe I'm wrong. I say stay away from coastal elites.

I say this with respect. I think Mitt Romney might be the best man to fix the VA problem. If he did fix it, I'd gain a lot of respect for him.

I beg to differ, this guy has a very pronounced liberal streak down his back side, so not to be trusted.
I'll be surprised if Trump picks him for anything except I'm not vindictive at all press prop up.

Unless Trump is doing a Michael Corleone with Mitt as Fredo I'd say no, NONO.

Jeanine Pirro (If she would take it. In her position, it would be a step down).

    or

Scott Walker Walker could be trusted not to sell us out I think.
