Bobcats are usually black and not so big. They are generally about twice as big as a housecat. Maybe a little bigger. Petting them isn't recommended. [:D]
Edit: Google says I'm wrong. My high school mascot was a black bobcat. I guess he was the one that was different. Anyhow, bobcats have bobtails.
