I wonder with smart technology growing by leaps and bounds and computers being enhanced with artificial intelligence, at what point, could the corrupt political system as we know it today become totally obsolete.
Computers could make logical decisions without regard to emotion and greed like politicians with agendas do today to further their own self interests.
Most would totally object to computers in decision making positions but ask yourself just how stable is society in 2015 with politicians around the world with different agendas running the show.
Like most, I've seen the movies and read the books on this subject but they fall under the guise of fiction BUT,
I'll bet dollars to donuts that there are already covert projects in place and running today that would have the public in an uproar if the peope could see past the end of their nose.
I'm not advocating a society governed by computers but computer programs are already influencing decisions in just about everything we as humans are involved in today.
Bottom line is, Hang on folks, you ain't seen nothing yet.

but to make laws requires reason and logic.
to govern requires reason and logic, and a twisting and perversion of that for political gain which no computer could ever hope to accomplish.
Ya get put in a box and asked a barrage of questions and if you lie, you fry!
Quick justice and would put millions of sleazy lawyers out of work.
Ahhhh! Penny.....[8D]
What we really need is a fool-proof, reliable lie detector.
they have one. it's in a warehouse, way in the back, in a box, next to the 100 mpg carburetor. the one with the patent on it that the owner, for some strange reason, doesn't want to sell. [;)]

Computers on do what they are programmed to do. If the programmer inputs evil, output will be evil.

In AI, the computer is able to alter or reprogram itself. No one knows what will happen when that genie gets out of the bottle....
