I don't know about the current figures, but at one time the US city with the highest ratio of NFA firearms per citizen was University Park, Tx, which is a suburb completely surrounded by the city of Dallas.

They typically have fewer than 10 violent crimes of any type per year there. Homicides there are virtually unheard of.
