I have a 1999 Suzuki 500 quadrunner. It has reciently stopped running again and I'm trying to find info on where the spark plugs are located. Up till now I've always had a garage work on it but I'm done putting 300 or more dollars Into in.
I've done a few Google searches and can't find anything useful. My father and I have both looked over the engine a couple times and can't spot the spark plugs.
Anyone know where I can find a diagram or something?

if you insist on doing it yourself, google should help, google spark plug change and your year and model.
the plug is located on the left side of the engine in front of and beside the thermostat housing on the head, according to google.
If you can't find the spark plugs, I would not work on it.

Excellent advice.
Google searches are telling what spark plug but not where it's located. I know this sounds rediculas but that bugger is hidden somewhere.

Thank you.
PS - it's probably carburator / methanol fuel related issues. Drain the float bowl and see if fuel comes out rust or water.
Left side of the engine (sitting on the machine) in front of ans just above the thermostat housing on the head.

Oakie, where is he on 309? We've used "Bill's Racing" over in Shunk but he's an hour away and getting out of the business.
Chris, if you take 118 east to 309, where the turkey hill convenience store is, make a right and head south. He is about 5 miles down on the left, right on a curve in the highway. Been dealing with them for our snowmobiles for over 20 years. Their mechanics there are top notch and will give you a good price and stand behind their work.[;)][;)][;)][;)][;)][;)][;)]. Chris, Let me know when you are going back up. Josh from GB lives up there and we can meet him for dinner. I have his number. My treat for dinner for both of you. I will find out from Josh a good place to eat near Benton. Oakie. Oh, let me know if you need some 22 ammo or anything else before I come up. I am going to make an ammo order soon. I will bring it with me.
I know the one on my Arctic Cat it not the easiest to find.
