FBI agent came to my door, today.

Asked me if I had knowledge of anyone acting suspiciously with regards to firearms. He said it was a general investigative program out of DC where they talk to folks at random to see if anyone might be planning domestic terrorism. Added that people who are "involved with guns" get picked randomly for questioning and "my name came up this year."

Say what?

I told him I had no personal knowledge or information about anyone involved in illegal activities and if I did I would certainly notify law enforcement immediately.

I am guessing I was contacted because of my C&R license. Anyone else had something like this happen? Recall it was the FBI and not the ATF.

FBI does the background checks, not the ATF.
Some will die in hot pursuit
    And fiery auto crashes
Some will die in hot pursuit
    While sifting through my ashes
Some will fall in love with life
And drink it from a fountain
That is pouring like an avalanche

    Doc,,

He came saw me last year, I posted about it. I still have his card around here somewhere in my filing cabinet. I copied & posted the flyer he gave me about what to be on the lookout for and what to report. Several people in here said I was full of poop, here is my original post

Well, besides Holder, there WAS this guy in New York named Bloomberg that was sending employees to Virginia to try to illegally buy guns. Think that is called Conspiracy to commit a Federal felony.

As far as guns, some of his employees can't account for a bunch of guns they were supposed to have in their "property rooms". And as far as "terrorist actions", some of those same employees just shot 9 people on a city street- right outside of the Empire State Building.

You might ask if they are looking for a murderer named Lon Horiuchi. Heard he was wanted for shooting a lady holding her baby.

Now that right there is classic. If I ever encounter that I'll tell them that.

I'd be very suspicious if the FBI asked me that question and more then likely tell them to screw off.

I might get the visit too since I have a C&R FFL. The agent is going to get an ear full from me on F&F and I'll go all the way back to WACO.

I'll ask him when he's going to start making arrests rather then wasting tax payers money going door to door.

Eric holder is a free man.

    Eric holder has a job.

Eric holder is above the law.

How many international laws did holder violate selling small arms to mexican drug cartels?

What is the difference between what Eric Holder did and what Viktor Bout used to do?

Bout's usefullness to American interests expired, then his freedom ended.

i rather imagine the ability to accurately & quickly shoot attitudinally challenged citizens in the legs is higher on the job description than cheerfully conductiong "random" visits...but not to worry ...even those unlucky are covered by the American Disability Act

In todays crazy world we live in, where people are on edge about everything, I'm cautious who I speak to about my hobbies.

I also never paid much attention when going to the range loading/un-loading the car at home. However, lately, I pull up to the garage to load. Never know who is going to see "gun cases" and freak out.

Broomsticks? I have no broomstick collection.

Seriously, what are the odds 4-5 people here has had a visit.

Should who help them out? Who here would most likely give them some information. . . Besides eric holder.

    Always remember,

if you see something tell someone. . . Unless it has something to do with the current administration, then stfu. . . Nobody likes a whistleblower.

Snitches are patriotic. . . Unless you are snitching on the government.
