Still the quiz is not valid as based predominantly on social issues.
    Its the economy stupid.

    Rick Santorum 89%.....what?!?

    Rubio checks in at 84%

Paul, who I assumed would be closest to me....73%, good for 4th, behind Ted Cruz.

there's a ton of "extra" economic questions, but you have to click a separate link to get them.

The quiz is much longer if you do that.

"Should every person purchasing a gun be required to pass a criminal and public safety background check?"

    - Yes

    - No

    - Yes, except for private transfer of ownership between family members

    - No, background checks are ineffective and a waste of government resources

they forgot "Yes, for FFL sales. No, for private sales." that is how it is now. the omission of this option makes it a biased question.

Seems Rubio and Cruz are my top two also. I really like Rubio.
Still I think it will be a miracle for anybody to beat Hillary, who seems to be the choice of the brain dead and clueless low IQ type voters. [:(]

Not really....considering no background check on private sales eliminates the the point of background checks on all sales.

I filled out a lot of the extended answers and I think it does not count them. It said Rubio was my candidate and I do not agree. I think the quiz is rigged.

Well I got Rubio, 97%. But then, I don't identify as Republican, but rather as conservative, with a few libertarian and constitutionalists tendencies tossed in.

As such, in the primary I will vote for the most conservative candidate on the ballet, but would be happy if that's Rubio, Cruz, Santorum, or a few others. When it comes to the general election, I don't know. I've always held that "People who stayed home or voted third party got us Obama because they were unwilling to move on their own principles for the good of the nation," but I'm getting to the point where I can't stand the liberal RINOs getting pushed to the top of the ticket every time since Reagan. If that happens again, I MIGHT JUST go in and vote for issues only, senators, congressmen, etc., and either not vote for President or go 3rd party; because one of two things has to happen.

    1. Either the Republicans get the message that their core constituents do NOT want a moderate on the ticket, or
    2. They become less and less relevant and a viable 3rd party emerges that is truly conservative.

If it takes Hillary winning to do that, well the country has already gone so far to hell that it might pave the way for some more tea party like right wing conservatives to win governorships, congressional races, etc., and that would mean good things for 2020 or 2024.

    Wrong! Though not my "perfect" candidate, Ben Carson would be unbeatable as the Republican candidate. A black candidate would;

    A) draw some support from the black community as an intelligent principled man that overcame the obstacles of a single poor parent, not to mention a lot of "he looks like me" vote.

    B) Suppress black voter turnout for Hillary.

Neither of these factors would allow any white Democrat to win. It's math people.

Maybe you haven't seen the terms Oreo, Uncle Tom and related slurs generated by liberal minorities who are referring to those black Conservatives that speak out against the lefts.

Rubio, although I lean toward Rick Perry right now. I think it's way too early to pick favorites. I'd be hard pressed to vote for Christy, and I'm not real wild about Jeb, but, I'd vote for FCDs Galloway bull before I'd vote for Hilldabitch.

    Marco Rubio 76%
    Rick Santorum 76%
    Ted Cruz 70%
    Mike Huckabee 69%
    Bernie Sanders 64%
    Scott Walker 61%
    Hildabeest 59%
    Rand paul 54%
    Ben Carson 37%
    Carly Fiorina 28%

aha, you have to click on "show all candidates" to get the full list.

    Marco Rubio 76%
    Rick Santorum 76%
    Ted Cruz 70%
    Mike Huckabee 69%
    Jeb Bush 65%
    Bernie Sanders 64%
    Scott Walker 61%
    Lindsey Graham 60%
    Hildabeest 59%
    Chris Christie 58%
    Rand Paul 54%
    Rick Perry 46%
    Martin O'Malley 41%
    Ben Carson 37%
    Donald Trump 33%
    Carly Fiorina 28%

it says you gave a similar answer when you didn't. for example, on the question

"Should every person purchasing a gun be required to pass a criminal and public safety background check?"

I said "Yes, for FFL sales. No, for private sales"

comparing with a candidate, hildabeest said Yes.

which is an entirely different thing.

I wouldn't put too much stock in the results of this test.

you may be right. they don't want an "intelligent principled man", they want a thug that gives them welfare checks in turn for getting elected.

Sorry but Blacks are not going to turn out for a candidate that doesn't promise to expand their benefits, irrespective of the candidates color. Blacks turned out in record numbers for Obama because is black AND a Democrat, not just because he is black.

yeah, it's math. 30% of the population vote like they're living in frikkin Mogadishu, if you're guaranteed that 30% on top of everything else, you're going to win.

Santorum - but he doesn't have a chance in Hell.

Second (by 1%) is Rubio. He's my man right now. I think he has an excellent chance for the nomination.

I was disappointed that Walker was 11% behind Rubio in the ratings, but he's still solidly Conservative and I think he has a good chance for the nomination.

I think Hilly can be beaten if the scandals keep bubbling up. Most people do not trust her.

She can be beaten if people will just stop thinking she is no different than Rubio, Walker, Cruz - or even Bush.

She is a radical Socialist - they are not.

This quiz has to be skewed[;)], there is no way my position is supported 56% by Monica's competition. (Hillery)[:(]

Guess I will have to keep an eye on Rubio, as that is who I most closely matched.[:)]
