I bought a used set of rcbs dies for my 257 roberts. I got a case stuck in the dies and tried to beat it out.I don't know what the heck I was thinking, obviously not thinking at all. Any way, I broke the expansion ball into a million pieces and scratched the die all to heck. I called RCBS and told them the dies were used and I destroyed it. Could they just send me a new ball at my cost.

They sent me a whole new die set absolutely free!!!!!!!!!!!This, even after I told them it was bought used and I destroyed it. Kudos to RCBS. This is why I only buy their reloading products. I am in the process of ordering a Pro 2000 progessive press from them.

They also sent me some pins and a patch and some decals.

Back in the 80's, I started loading 11mm Mauser and got all my stuff from RCBS. Well, I kept busting shell holders. After the second one broke, I called RCBS in Oroville and none other than Fred Huntington answered the phone!

After a discussion and a couple more calls we determined that a batch of improperly cut shell holders had left the factory (the rim was too thin).

Since at that time, not many people opted to reload that cartridge, I was the first to contact them about it.

Not only did Fred replace my 11mm shell holder, he asked me if I needed any others and I asked for a couple I didn't already have. They all arrived a few days later.

For those that don't know, Fred Huntington founded RCBS.

Can't beat that service! I bought a RCBS universal hand primer. Great tool, no changing shell holders. I was dissapointed to see "made in china" on the box though....

I thought their products were all made in the USA, but evidently not.

Years ago I bought a used RCBS powder measure. It was very cheap because it was missing the plastic hopper. I called RCBS and asked to buy the missing part. They insisted on sending me a new one for free. Refused to allow me to pay even the shipping. I told them I bought it used and it was missing, not broken. Made no difference.

Once I got a case stuck. They removed it, put all new rings and other parts on the die, and returned it with the used parts. All free.

I called once and asked to buy some decapping pins as the local dealers were out. They sent me a package at no charge. I offered to pay. No dice.

I've had my RockChucker press since 1976. A few years ago they redesigned the handle and I wanted to upgrade. Same story. They sent it to me free of charge including shipping.

I am sure all the name brand reloading equipment is quality. Maybe the others do the same on customer service. I don't know because RCBS bought my loyalty long ago. I load about 25 calibers and the only die set I have not made by RCBS is for the 8x56R and that's because they don't make one.

I bought a 1500 Chargemaster powder dispenser and it worked great for a couple years then one day I went out to turn it on and it wouldnt come on so I called RCBS they told me to ship it to them along with a check for $35 and 2 weeks later I recieved a brand spanking new unit with a letter of appology for the other unit failing and a few other freebies also. I do buy dies from other makers but all of my major equipment is RCBS and always will be.

Great Customer service is why i buy and recommend RCBS!

Lyman plus several others suck a hind tit as compared to RCBS.
Hornady has come trhough few times for me with good customer service.

If customer service sucks I don't buy or recommend their products!

They replaced a part for me also. Very impressed with their service.
It was a wearable part of a case loader, but they covered it anyway!

I have heard both them and Dillon are both stellar in customer service. I too thought all their stuff was made in USA.

I used to have one of their engineers email addresses and I would email him directly and he would just have stuff shipped to me. This was before they were bought by ATK (if I recall).

Their customer service is second to none. And look at all of the free advertising that they just got. More companies should take note. Reputation is everything.

A friend gave me my first rockchucker about 25 years ago .Since then I have added another rockchucker and an old partner press to the collection. Have all 3 set up in sequence on the bench ,different die in each so when i batch reload i just swivel around in a semicircle. Never had to use customer service till now I bent the rod in my swager set and need to get a new one so I guess a phone call is in order. Love my green stuff!
