John Wayne was and continues to be an easy man to admire. A solid friend, helped many people he met in his business to get their start and find work. In this way Wayne was very generous. Very well read too with an extensive library. He maintained a public persona to support his career but there was a heck of a lot more to the man behind the on and off camera act he felt the need to maintain.

Compare that Hollywood crowd to the Hollywood crowd of today. Sadly most in the clip are gone.
