A/C Compressor Mount-SBC

I put a new engine in the El Camino a couple of years ago.I put a set of headers on it and seems that part of the mount for the A/C compressor was on the stock manifold.I cant remember the company that made the headers,but they sold a mount for the compressor.It was well known company,but not known for headers.I know some of you have SBC powered hot rods with headers and A/C.How did you do it?

    Summitracing.com and Jegs.com will have the part(s) you need to mount the A/C compressor to the forward exhaust bolt. There are tons of aftermarket brackets out there that will work much better than trying to make the stock part that was made for a thick manifold work on a thin header.

    Holley sells the part...Holley part #10925HKR(left side mount)...Holley part #10926HKR(right side mount). May want call Holley and see what headers these will work with. I know they work with Hooker Super Comps

    Jegs also carries them.... driver side part#520-10925....passenger side part #520-10926...35.99 each..same part as I listed above..give them a call 1-800-345-4545
