I had one of those moments while driving down the road today where I kept thinking how America has shifted so far that Un American people are the ones now governing America. Anti Constitutional individuals and groups are running America.
Was enough to make a guy mad.

Every out of power bunch feels this way to some extent. Doesn't much matter who they are. Republistains, Demoncraps, Libertaridiots, T.P.'ers, Perotistas (Reform Party), Greenmoldies, etc etc from the dawn of the Republic to the present day.

They all get over it the next time they win.

They all think its the end of everything the next time they lose.

Hell, I remember people getting all scared and panicky about the country falling apart when Nixon resigned.

We have real problems to deal with. This stuff is a distraction we do not need.

    Absolutely correct.

I think his point is that whichever side you subscribe to, when out of power one tends to view it as the end of all that's good and worthwhile.

The sun will still come up in the East in the morning regardless, but for some life as they know it is over.

Precisely correct in a rather odd and unintentional way.

    All AMERICANS are MY PEOPLE.

Conservative, Liberal, Moderate, Libertarian, etc. Don't much care, an American is an American.

I both agree and disagree with my fellow Americans from time to time, on this issue and that. I flat decline to hate or despair over any of it. It is impractical, self destructive and defeatist to do so.

Neither a Partisan nor a Party Member Be ... that's my motto!

    Well, it's "a motto"[:D] anyway.

They are governing because the dumbing down of American is just about complete. Enough morons voted for our clown-in-chief to elect him twice. They didn't bother to learn the issues or learn about his lack of knowing what he is doing, his socialistic views. They just liked the fact that he is black, or actually half black.

"When the people find that they can vote themselves money, that will herald the end of the republic." ?(Benjamin Franklin)?

" A democracy cannot exist as a permanent form of government. It can only exist until the voters discover that they can vote themselves largesse from the public treasury. From that moment on, the majority always votes for the candidates promising the most benefits from the public treasury with the result that a democracy always collapses over loose fiscal policy, always followed by a dictatorship. The average age of the world's greatest civilizations has been 200 years.

Great nations rise and fall. The people go from bondage to spiritual truth, to great courage, from courage to liberty, from liberty to abundance, from abundance to selfishness, from selfishness to complacency, from complacency to apathy, from apathy to dependence, from dependence back again to bondage." ?(Alexander Tyler)?

I firmly believe those "unAmerican minded people"
have an agenda to destroy this country
then blend it into the middle east.

No, my thought were nothing about political party or even federal or state governments. My thoughts were about the people and groups that are vehemently attacking the constitutional amendments, mostly the second. Nothing about who is in power at the moment.

The people that are attacking The second amendment want to disarm the population FIRST then we will have no means to Protest any other thing they want to shove down our throat.EDIT Think Cyprus with depositors losing 80% of their money in banks to their GOVERNMENT and no private fire-arms.
