It's mowing grass, my all time favorite way to relax. Granted, once all the mowing with the riding mower is over with the hard part begins, trimming with tr lish mower and running the weedwacker. Still, I love it and when I can't do it anymore I'll be lost.
My grandfather in PA was super * about how the grass was mowed, I spent a ton of time as a child learning how Grandpa wanted the grass cut. Now, 40 years later I find myself still mowing the same way he showed me. And yes, sometimes when I'm done I stsre at the yard and ask Grandpa if I did it right.
May not sound like much to many of you but I didn't have what many of you had growing up, I pretty much raised myself. Time on the farm in Ohio or the small farmette in PA was short, both my parents were couch potatoes. EverythingI know how to do today I taught myself, from shooting to driving, I had to learn on my own. So when I am taken back to childhood remembering one of the few lessons I got, it's kinda special.

I do, my kids say that I'm the most * retentive person that ever lived about lawns
Do the trimming first, then mowing will clean up the clippings. Plus you get to rest, while riding. [8D]

And fiery auto crashes
Some will die in hot pursuit
While sifting through my ashes
Some will fall in love with life
And drink it from a fountain
That is pouring like an avalanche
Coming down the mountain
I also enjoy mowing the lawn. [:D]
I have retrofitted both of my riding mower with drink holders.

Mine came standard!

I love weed whackers. They're also great for a quick trim of the mustache!

I do the trimming after, just the way I've always done it. Plus I generally finish up when she get's home, she sees me dragging the weedeater around I can get some sympathy back rubs. Remember, always a method to the madness! [:D]
Don't miss all that gas, oil, and exhaust one bit

...for the record, I stripe the lawns I mow too...and put a border around the perimeter when I finish.

Mine only came with one on one side, to hold the beer, I had to retrofit one on the other side to hold the whiskey [:D]
I'm thinking about changing out the seat to a two person motorcycle seat, that way I can get some young lady to sit behind me and wrap her legs around me while I mow the lawn [:p][:p] but if I do that I will have to throw a bunch of nightcrawlers in my lawn so they create a bunch casting mounds, that way the young lady can rub her... never mind[:D][:D][:D]

Good on nose hairs also. [:D]
Works almost as good as a propane torch. [:0][}:)]
Last year I bought a 32V Worx trimmer. I love it. Light and easy to handle, hit the switch and it's on, release it and it's off. No noise, no fumes. Granted, it will not cut heavy weeds, but I only have a little trimming usually, and it works great.
Line comes in cartridges, feeds automatically. Trimming is not so hard any more.[8D]

always enjoyed mowing too. But you gotta weed eat/trim first, then when you mowed it gets mulched up with the grass and everything is even and clean.
No no no, we have wind, wind takes care of trimmings. My push mower has a bag on it so it really isn't a problem and where I weedeat you aint getting a mower in there.

You haven't lived until you have attacked a nest of ground hornets with a weed whacker![:D][B)]
I would rather mow grass than blow snow but that's just me.
I'd rather pay somebody to cut my grass than clear the driveway of snow. If it snows here I am not going ANYWHERE so therefore I do not need my driveway. At least now one of my vehicles is AWD and can get somewhere. My car and my Durango will have nothing to do with ice. Snow they can handle. (ish)

Or I dump the clippings in the area.[:D]
And around here the only trimming I do is to the Blackberries I hate blackberries Love to eat them but hate how they grow. They will take over like Kudzu does in the south.

I ran into Snow the other day, he was asking about you[:o)]
He said that every time he thinks of you he things of the "long-hard" winters you 2 spend together[:D]
