Working out

I've been going to a health club for 35 years now at least 3 times a week. Has become part of my life. Problem is I do the same routine every visit. "They" say one should vary the routine as muscles become used to the same old and that's not a good scenario. True?

I feel like my body has gotten totally out of shape,
so I got my doctor's permission to
join a fitness club and start exercising.
I decided to take an aerobics class for seniors.
I bent, twisted, gyrated, jumped up and down, and perspired for an hour
But by the time I got my gym shorts on, the class was over.

How many of you work out on a regular basis? I've been doing it for 30 years so I hope it's doing me some good[;)]

I think it is true but what the hell I don't know nothing anyway LOL

Either way I would say going and doing a routine for that long is commendable!
Why don't we go to school and work on the weekends and take the week off!

Doing is better than not doing.

But really you need to take a break from those Jazzercize classes...
Although always described as a cowboy, Roswellnative generally acts as a righter of wrongs or bodyguard of some sort, where he excels thanks to his resourcefulness and incredible gun prowesses.

I believe it. Build a repitoire of excercises for your muscle group. Choose 6-7 per day. Switch it up.

But, anything is better than nothing. I think they want this so that stability muscles still continue to strengthen from ?different? excercises and motnions.
Half of the lives they tell about me aren't true.

Very true. Muscles adapt and crave new stimulation. Doing the same exercises over and over can lead to overuse injuries. Changing the exercises, weight, rep range, and rest periods is very beneficial. I change my routine ever 6 weeks or so and have stayed healthy and fit for 20 years.

    This.
Some will die in hot pursuit
    And fiery auto crashes
Some will die in hot pursuit
    While sifting through my ashes
Some will fall in love with life
And drink it from a fountain
That is pouring like an avalanche
    Coming down the mountain
