$299.99 for an 8 pounder !! Never seen road kill so expensive.

You'd be look'n good while "squashing one flat" with your $75,000 ford truck.

All testicles are pretty tasty, with flavor variations dependent on species, of course. Properly cleaned, lightly floured and pan fried, they're just delicious.

I admit the gathering of them might be sufficiently arduous to justify $37.50 a pound, but unless you really want to have "exotic" ones, it might be too much.
    I may be a bit crazy - but I didn't drive myself.

I'll file this away in the category of good things to know if I'm ever actually starving.

Dang, with all of the rain we've had this August the Armadillos haven't shown up. Apparently, the woods are wet enough, so they are staying away from irrigated lawns. However, my Armadillo Cam is on the lookout! [:D]

I have eaten calf, hog, turkey, & deer "fries".[8D]
The deer ones were too gamey for my taste. (might have been because of the rut) The turkey fries are served by one of our better steak restaurants, and are in great demand every weekend. They are really very good, especially if washed down by their craft brew!

I don't know the statistical probability of getting leprosy from contact with armadillos but there is evidence that it can happen...any risk at all is enough for me to avoid messing with them...let alone chowing down on them.
